Live in Dublin, so I know where to go etc.

But I'm wondering how quickly can I get an emergency passport? Just realised mine has expired and I'm going away next week.

go down asap and they should with your travel documents as proof be able to get one for for you in three days.

If you live in Dublin and can spend a day in the office you might be able to get your new passport in a week. Though not sure they still do that. If you get on it tomorrow you can probably have an emergency passport the day after if you have all the forms and pictures you need. The temporary one though involves lots of questions with border control and I guess some countries might be worse for this than others.

They can do in three to five working days so if you're heading off next week you should be ok

Get down to the office in the morning, get there before they open and wait outside if you can

    Bring proof of travel

Thanks a million for the replies (have actually just been reading that thread, Hot Lips)

So I'll head in with the money, travel docs, old passport, passport pics and I could be ok?
