Questions asked before test

Hi all, I have my driving test tomorrow. Feel confident enough on the road as I had a few lessons and am driving 5 years so am hoping for the best on that front. I am sitting here reading Rules of Road, looking at loads of signs and reading possible questions tester may ask. I've been looking at this book a good few times in the past few weeks but nothing is going in!!!! Something I looked over the other night I completely blank when doing "mock test".

Roughly how many questions on Rules of Road ans signs are you asked before test and where are these marked on the test report? What is considered Grade 1/2/3 if I get these questions wrong? Am really fretting just over the theory part :(
    Any help gladly taken!!!!

Don't worry too much about the theory part!

Here's a list of example questions (note: they can ask questions not on this list, but some of these get asked quite often) http://drivingtesttips.ie/Irish-Driving-Test-Questions.php

You'll get asked about 3 theory questions, and 4/5 road signs. The road signs are fairly straightforward - make sure you know what a pedestrian zone looks like, as well as a clearway - they're not immediately obvious and are therefore asked quite often!

    It's worthwhile knowing
    - When you can overtake on the left
    - What a continuous white line means in the centre of the road and when you can cross it
    - Who cannot drive on motorways

As far as I know, you can only get a Max of 1 Grade 2 for the theory questions - so technically, you can get them all wrong and still pass (aim to get some right, obviously).

There'll be a few technical checks outside, as I'm sure you'll know - opening the bonnet, showing where you put oil into the engine, describing how you would check the oil level, what the minimum recommended tyre thread depth is (1.6mm), etc. You may be asked how to demist your windows and how to turn on your rear foglight.
Again, you can only get a max of 1 Grade 2 for these technical checks, so you can get all your theory questions wrong, all your technical checks wrong, and still pass - again, don't aim for this, but be aware that you won't fail it because of theory alone!!

Best of luck tomorrow! Remember to just relax, think of the driving tester as a SatNav telling you where to go, drive how you normally drive, and it'll be over before you know it!

Edit: About the possible grading marks - I'm not fully sure if I'm right about 1 max Grade 2 for each section of the theory/technical checks. As far as I know, 3 wrong answers warrants a Grade 2. But either way, you can get all the theory and technical checks wrong and still pass - but don't worry, the theory is usually fine!

you get a single grade 2 at the most if you get most of them wrong, which i did, had a total blank that morning

no grade 3, so if you at least drive properly you can still pass

Thanks **Timbuk2** and bluewolf for replying :)

I passed!!! So happy as a lot happened in past few days including my car breaking down and having to do test in mothers car that I had never driven before!

The questions I was asked were:
1- When should you dip your headlights?
2- What does an amber light mean?
3- What are the rules regarding the yellow box junction?

    Signs:
    Stop Sign
    Road Narrows
    Clearway
    Max Speed Limit 50kmh
    Pedestrianised Street
    Contra Flow Bus Lane
    No entry

In fairness she did help me on the questions but almost muttering the answers as I was saying them :)

I have my test report here and on the back is the rules regarding the Grades etc. Will put up when I get back from getting my pink shiny new licence :D:D:D
