Also who of you have a gas fire? Which is more expensive to run, we have a gas and are afraid to use it cuz of the cost, but I was looking at my rates and my esb rate is 14.4cent kw/h and gas is 4.05c kw/h so to me gas seems much cheaper to use, could this be correct????

Its a flueless gas we have, and when we light the fire the smell of gas is cronic.....But having said that we never light the fire, so maybe its norm until it gets use to being lit? Can anybody advise me on that???
