Meta discussion: how's this forum going?

I thought it might be worthwhile starting a meta discussion on the forum.

There's a bunch of regular reviewers in here giving awesome feedback, the amount of time you guys put in is huge - kudos due.

What suggestions do you have for the forum itself - what could we do to improve it?

A "Read Me First" sticky with a checklist of recommendations would be a good start I reckon. Any ideas for specific items for that (hard to know where to draw the line)? Anything else?

Some sort of FAQ items for common issues though not too deep as we want to retain a decent part of the action, so to speak.

    Some common or good threads.

Some sort of way of handling trite and not really helpful posts like: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=74889895&postcount=12

I think the biggest annoyance is probably site owners who seem to be genuinely asking for feedback, and then completely ignoring it! Not much boards.ie can do about that though.

I've had people PAY for advice like this and then ignore it :)
