    hey guys

I'm going down a bit of work on the house in the next couple of weeks. I was hoping to get a bit of advice on two pieces of work from any builders/DIYers/engineers etc.
1: Want to take out a load bearing wall to join two rooms. What would be a typical steel section to use to replace the wall? The house is a bunglow but the attic is used from time to time.
2: Want to put in an ensuite into one of the bedrooms. I would say I have about 2m^2 to fit it. Would you think that this is enough space for a small bathroom/wet room.? Would be planning on having a door that opens outwards instead of inwards to save space as well as a small sink and toilet nothing more.

Please read the forum charter, we can't discuss structural issues here for obvious reasons, please contact an indemnified structural engineer.
