    Can anyone provide some tips for a first time owner of fine art i.e. insurance, storage, framing, transportation etc

    It will cost money to get a valuation and to insure it ....... so is it worth it ?

    best place to store it is on a dry wall , where you can enjoy it !

    Framing is to your own personal taste , but some types of art require a particular type of frame . So we'd have to see it to be able to recommend it .

    transporting it , well if it is an open canvas, delicate frame , glass front then you got to take some small precautions

    any chance of showing us a pic of it !?
