Got a new iphone today, when I synched with itunes only about 25% of my apps appeared on my new phone. Just wondering what happened that the rest of them didn't appear.

did you do a backup before syncing the new phone, also with the iphone connected click on the apps tab under iphone and make sure whatever apps you want have a tick in the box

I had it backed up. The old phone is gone now so I have them lost I'd say.
I remember pressing a cancel button by accident today when the new synch was in progress, it must have shagged it up. Dissapointing as I had paid for lots of them.

if you've bought them and are using the same iTunes and/or same account, you can either download them again free (apps can be downloaded from the app store, and with music in the cloud with iCloud music can be downloaded again from the iTunes app) or ensure you've checked them in the sync options as stated before, as if they were backed up into iTunes they'll still be there. Did you upgrade your phone by much, say original iPhone to iPhone 4, as some apps may not work?

If you can't remember the apps, they're in your account history

on the phone go to app store, updates, purchased, not on this phone.

all should be there for redownload.

Ok, thanks lads. Will check that later.
It was an iphone 4 to similar. It was to do with a reception/signal problem and three insisted I get it checked out at one of their service centers.
They issued me with the new phone.
I'll find out in a few hours if the new one is any better reception wise as it's at my workplace I had most of the problems.
