    Hi all,

I have a 2005 Audi A4 S-Line with a 5 speed manual gear box. I got a gear knob for an A3 automatic (s tronic logo on top) and was wondering if it will fit the manual shaft? I have been told fifferent things by different mechanics. It looks like it will fit but my main concerns are:

1> Will the automatic components fit the manual gear shaft without interference?

2> How do I get the metal clamp off the original gear knob? Its really hanging in there!

3> The gear knob I have (standard s-line) and the gaitor seems to be all in one. Can the gaitor be separated and fitted to the new gear knob or will I have to buy a knew one?

    Thanks in advance.
