TRV (Pegler) does not shut down

I have another problem (yet again) with one of my Pegler TRVs. It won't shut down anymore, when I remove the head, the pin underneath will not budge.
Any recommendations? Only one valve is affected. I tested all others, they are fine, opening and closing when I turn the head as they should.
The system has been flushed several times and is a closed system, so no dirt should enter.

Check the manual, if you don't have it anymore try the home page of the manufacturer.
The TRV might be o.k. but the actual brass valve not. So take the thermostat from the valve and try to close the valve manually.
Use a spoon upside down held in your palm (protection) and push down the brass nipple for a few times, this might be stucked.

Exchange the thermostat, take the "non-working" one to another radiator valve and vice versa and see if it still fails.

    Hi Heinblöd,
thanks for the tip. Here the status-update: it does not work, I can't press down the pin, neither with a spoon, nor without one. It does not move at all. The heating is off, so the pressure in the water is less. But still no go.

Try a very gentle tap with a hammer But make sure you hit it square.
