    Hi I'm doing my ppl and have all the Trevor Thom books 1-7 they are the old cover ones tho printed in 96-97 I think will I still be able to use these books ? the info inside seems relevant but i have noticed the new books have a different cover to mine. any info would be great thanks!

    While the basics remain, your books should actually reflect the JAA , now EASA requirements. Which yours won't. You'll probably need to buy some of the new books.

    I'm not completely 100% on the EASA changes, but I'm almost sure Air Law will need a new book.

    You only need one book really and thats the bible!!!!!

    Sometimes this bible is also known as the "PPL Confuser".
