Internet on campus on the weekend (wtf ISS?)

Has anyone else on campus had no internet all weekend? It seems like the authentification system went down sometime on Friday afternoon/evening, because one of the guys in my apartment hadn't turned his computer off since before then and could still access the internet. The rest of us had nothing. I think the wireless was still okay (?) but the signal is weak/nonexistant in my building. We tried contacting IS Services but it seems they only do Monday-Friday so if anything goes wrong on the weekend, you might as well forget about it.

Still had no internet around 9-10am this morning, I'm hoping it comes back during the day...

Ranting over, back to the library with me.

(Now waiting for some smartarse troll to try suggest there's no such thing as "campus" again.)

Haven't had more than 2 minutes of internet all day. This is a pain in the arse

I know there was a massive outage over most of halls over the weekend, but some subnets still worked. JCR TO said the techs would be out first thing yesterday to take a look, should all be up now.

Their twitter feed seems to indicate it was restricted to Halls & Goldsmith

    Nothing in Rubrics all weekend.

Although, hardly their fault if a box dies, and they're all in the pub at half 11 on a friday night, is it? I'd say something if it wasn't back up by lunchtime on monday..

    Stars won't craft themselves.

Also it seems strange that there is no apparent way to contact them outside of office hours. The only reason I'm not angrier about this is because I get the internet for free anyway. If I were paying for the service I would have been most unimpressed.
