Incoming Call goes to loudspeaker

    Since yesterday all incoming calls go automatically to loudspeaker on my HTC Desire HD? I have not made any changes to any settings (sofar I am aware).. any suggestions? :confused:

    Yeah happened to me something to do with the charging port and two pins touching and making the phone think its docked. I brought it to fonemenders and they sent it back to htc for me. Its a known problem

    Could be some dust or lint doing this, happened to a couple of people on here, me included (Desire), once i gave the USB port a good clean out the problem vanished.

    True should have said that I had tried that first and it didnt work.

    I cleaned the USB port carefully, but it did not help. Then switched the phone off - removed the battery, reinserted it and restarted the phone again - the problem is sorted - amazing... :D
