    Hey Everyone,

I am looking to get back into some art to lost a bit of weight.
I done kenpo for 4 years and had to take some time out to let
    a back injury get sorted.

I am just wondering what clubs are available in south Dublin, around walkinstown preferably.

    Thanks in Advance

If it's still Kenpo you're interested in, there's also the Kenpo karate club in lorreto college in Crumlin. I dont know anything about the art or the club but Darryl Murray is one of the instructors there. Sound guy.

Best of luck in your training :)

There is a kenpo club in the community centre just off Walkinstown avenue. John Ward is the instructor I believe. There is also a club in Drimnagh Castle done by the same instructor and a club in John Bosco in Drimnagh.

The Sheldon Park is in Bluebell. But that sounds good, might check it out myself some time.

Another alternative is Judo, and Paul Cummins runs a brilliant club up in Walkinstown.. HERE.

    Hi. Pride

Your more then welcome to come along, be great to meet up. just btw in case anyone confused (as someone mail me its in Ballyfermot) the Sheldon Park Hotel advertises themselves as in Walkinstown, the hotel leisure club about 200m away from the Kylemore Luas stop on the Kylemore Road. Anyway whatever Sheldon people go to, the door is always open :D

Paddy Kennedy is a great instructor. A credit to his art. But seeing as it is out of the way, the clubs I recommended would be better suited to the OP. Also I've heard nothing but good things about Paul Cummins judo in Walkinstown. Those would be the best options IMO.
