My OH wants to dress as Zapp Brannigan from Futurama for our work Halloween party:D
Having an absolute nightmare trying to find the coponents of the costume, which comprises of an (ideally) velour wine-coloured tunic. Have searched high and low for a costume online, but to no avail.
We're rapidly running out of ideas here and need suggestions ASAP!!

I'm pretty sure this user has one, drop him a PM, he'll gladly help out a lady in distress.

You could try making your own?

You could buy some red velour material and just sew your own basic tunic. (Don't know what your sewing abilities are. This might be a no-go.)

You could also buy two long sleeved tops (like this one from American Apparel). Use one of them as the top half of the tunic. Cut the arms and neckline off the second one and attach the remaining material to a black belt so that would serve as the 'skirt'. You could use the leftover material from the sleeves to make a collar. You could use foam or even card to make the shoulder pads.

He could wear white vans/converse and just use some card fastened into a cone shape to make the boots. Or you could buy cheap cowboy boots and spray them white.

Thanks for that! My sewing abilities are fairly minimal- doubt I could make anything from scratch, but reckon I could tack the skirt part on. The boots are sorted, we have some wellies that he's going to paint white. And I was going to buy some gold card in Easons and make the arm bands.

You're sorted then. :) You don't even have to sew the material to the belt - you could use glue or even staples! Best of luck!
