    Hi All,
I am considering applying for a Research Masters through my company & a qualified University (am approved with the pre
-reqs), thing is I am struggling for ideas on areas to study.
Does anyone have any pointers or know where you could get tips on areas which require substantial research?

    Thanks

If your company has an R&D Dept. contact them and ask for any areas that could be beneficial to the company for you to investigate. There is more chance of your company giving you time off / extra benefits if it is in the companys interest.

You could also contact a lecturer in the University you would hope to attend and discuss areas that could be a possibility.

It might be no harm to choose the topics that are of interest to you and your company and search them through sciencedirect.

Brouse trhough recent papers for relevant topics, and you never know, you might get lucky and find something which would also be of interest to the university you will be working with.
