It has a sister outfit called mayotv. This outfit are sponsored by Mid West Radio, (or Mayo's Worst Rubbish:D) Broadcasts on that Showcase channel every Thursday night, with repeats on Sunday nights. Just saw half of it myself. Mostly features stories from the West.

Irish-Tv is a private company , they started as Mayo-Tv but expanded mid 2011 to cover all of Ireland , they run the same format as Nationwide .They have no connection with Ireland west Radio or any of the music channels broadcast on showcase TV (sky 201). They are one of only two content producers in Ireland broadcasting on The SKY TV showcase platform .
Irish-TV also produce content for RTE and TG4 as Mayo media.
Like it or hate it they are on the Air , providing Job's and making moves when most of the country is in decline....... give it ten years and they may own their own channel .

Is all of their material available on SKY 201 or are some of the programmes only available on their website?

Showcase channel seems to be getting some following up here in Donegal, for whatever programme has country and western music etc. on it.

The CW thing seems to be growing a right wee following.

One of the many reason why Glor Tire (Country Music X Factor) is so popular on TG4.

I watch Irishtv.ie all the time and I think it's great what they are doing. Unlike mainstream television they are covering local stories and are providing a platform for companies and festivals alike to promote their product worldwide. I am part of small Ag. Show and we had them down earlier this year, it was brilliant and they are so helpful. The great thing was that they said we will be your own personal camera crew for the day so it turned out exactly how we wanted it to. Wouldn't miss their programme for the world. More power to them!:)
