No water at all - but full attic tank?

Well up to last night, everything was grand but this morning there is no water coming from taps or toilet at all.. not a drop.

Cold water in the kitchen is full flow so that's grand, it's just everywhere else that is gone.

I got into the attic and the tank is full and it's still trickling in.

Obviously gonna have to call a plumber tomorrow because I have no idea what is going on, but if anyone can shed any light that'd be a great help and I'd really appreciate it!!

sounds like you might have a pump thats stopped working, check bottom of your hot press to start.

Check the outlet on the attic tank for starters - it could be blocked.

There should be a pipe in your hot press that isn't connected to the hot water tank, the valve on it is usually high up, check it's open.

You could have an airlock too which you can clear if you have hot water stored in your hot water tank. Basically you want to force the hot water up the cold water pipe (which is connected to your attic tank). You can do it a few ways like blocking the outlet on a set of mixer taps, turning on the cold water and then the hot water one; The hot water should then be forced up the cold pipe and clear any airlocks into the tank upstairs.

Failing that, I'm out of ideas
