Guys in a few weeks I'll be getting a new laptop. The one I have now has windows XP Pro...the one I'm getting has Windows 7 Pro. What do you recommend I use for moving the programs over or am I better off doing a clean install of all of them?

There is no way to "move programs over" you'll have to do a clean install.

I was looking at some migrating software that claims it can do it but I'm a bit wary of using em. So yeah, it's a pain in the arse but maybe a clean install it is. I have a LOT of programs.
