    Don't think so... I have classes every week until Christmas anyway. I think we only get the 31st off.

    It depends on your department. It's not strictly a mid term break though as you can be expected to be available

    If you get its called a reading week and you will probably be assigned stuff to read or work to do

    What course are you in?

    Reading Week is Week 7 (starting Monday, November 7th) so you might have that week off. Most AHSS courses have the week off anyway, as does general Science, but I know the Health Sciences courses (Pharmacy, Medicine...) don't.

    Your timetable should have Reading Week accommodated (Week 11 on Portal)... if not then speak to your lecturers. As other people have said, it is up to the specific departments to allow you the time off
