Sorry everyone, i don't know where to post this and I'm stuck for time to find out the answer:

Sadly my friend committed suicide on Friday night and his remains are being removed from the hospital to a local funeral home this evening. People are allowed to go in this evening for a time and he will not be removed to the chapel until 11am tomorrow for mass and burial.

My problem is that i do not not know what the correct thing is to do with the wreath I made for him. Should i (a) bring it up to the chapel this evening & leave it on the side of the alter for the funeral director to sort out or (b) bring it with me to the funeral home this evening? The family have not specified anything and I have to work in the morning and will be racing to make it to the mass so will not be able to bring them up to the alter when I arrive.

I have to go in about an hour to the funeral home so any advice would be greatly received! Thanks in advance.

    Maybe the first option.

Just leave it on the side of the alter for the funeral director to sort out. :)

Sorry to hear about your mate.

Leave it at the alter or give it to the funeral director.
