Paying Fees Online?

Looking to pay my fees for the year online this evening but having trouble finding the link...

I went to the fees website, and clicked "Pay your fees here". When I log in I just see the courses page with my course details... no links to Pay Fees?

Course status is showing as "Pre-Registered" if that makes any difference. I can click into my course then the only option is "View Learner Plan" and that doesn't work. (ORA-00942: table or view does not exist)

    Any ideas?

Log in, it will show your name, address etc, on the bottom of the page is the 'pay fees' button. Click on it, a page will pop up and follow the instructions.

You should email the Fees Office, they are incredibly polite and helpful.

Went onto that personal details page but still no Pay Fees button....?

I was hoping to not have to go with them. Already queued at that "Student Contact center" for ages with an exam query in the last week. They're meant to deal with exam queries - I never got my Autumn results in the post, but know that I've passed from lecturer.

They told me I need to go to the exams office - "Where's the exam office, I thought you did exam queries?", "The exams office is now a 'closed office', not open to students", "Oh, how do I go to them", "Ring this number...".... of course the number always rings out.

Interesting. Have you gone through the registration steps? Maybe it will only appear then? Honestly, I don't know.

If you are doing a Science Course, the board meetings are normally held around mid October so your results may be posted around late October.

Some advice: queue early because the staff are very inefficient.

Yes, they do like to pass the book a lot... This is NUIG for you and they are becoming less accountable (a common characteristic of the civil service). They rarely answer the telephone with just a messaging service. In my experience, emailing them is the best way of getting a response.

It looks like a registration issue.

Looking at the profile, you need to contact the registration Office if your address and contact details aren't appearing on the page (which they should be). The people responsible for this appear to have forgotten to register you on their system.

No they had the board meeting over a month ago, my supervisor was on the board and he was aple to tell me I passed alright. The rest of the class got their results in the post weeks ago.

As regards the results issue, I emailed exams@nuigalway.ie to which I got back...
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

    exams@nuigalway.ie
Typical NUIG! They've no help desk, don't answer their phone and the email address bounces!

I'll go to the fees office today and see what the craic is.

So glad their pay will soon be cut. Overblown civil service.
