iPad 2 help

Hoping someone can suss this for me, I have 5 available updates to apps from the App Store, and when I select "Update All", I get "Error 1004 please try agian later". Anyone got any ideas? The machine has been powered off/on, has a full battery, and nothing is currently running on it. Tried the support section of the Apple site, not great.
