Hustler mower problem!

Not sure if this is the correct forum but I'm sure the mods will sort that out! Anyway I have a Hustler fasttrack lawnmower, with a 17hp kohler engine! It's the one with the steering handles instead of a steering wheel! My problem is, occasionally, and becoming more of a regular thing, when I pull the handles in from the neutral position to drive, the mower cuts out! Shaking the handles in and out numerous times sometimes sorts the problem! The same thing also happens if I engage the blades! It will run happily in neutral but if I pull in the handles or engage the blades she cuts out! I reckon it must be caused by a faulty safety switch! I have changed the switches at the base of the handles and also the seat safety switch, but I'm no better off! Is there a safety switch that is linked to both the handles and the blades, where is it located?? Or has anyone got any other suggestions??

    Thanks,
    Alan

Ring SouthernMachinery and ask to speak with a technician. If they don't have an answer, nobody(bar hustler) has one.:)
