We got a cheap sofa-bed in argos before and although it looked great it was the most uncomfortable thing ever to sit on. I don't know if that's a common problem with sofa-beds but I would definitely want to test before buying if I ever get another one. Do they have display models in Ikea that you can try out?

We've an Ikea sofa bed in our spare room left as a bed. Anyone who has stayed over has commented on how comfortable it is.

It's the most comfortable bed in the house.

Whilst it's not crap you wouldn't want to have to use it as a couch every day. It's ok in small doses!

I have this sofa bed and i wouldnt recommend it. Its ok to sit on and is compact but absolutely awful as a bed. It folds out, has gaps between the foam and is very uncomfortable. Its only big enough to sleep one adult.

I bought one of these on Saturday, compared to Argos its very cheap (cheapest 2 seater sofa bed in argos is about €250 )

box is big so make sure you have a van or trailer.

Easy to assemble also.

The couch is nice to sit on if you have a few cushions, as for the bed its not great but don't care as its being used for a sofa more than a bed.

I have one of these as well, it's an ok couch and an ok bed. not really brilliant as either but we have ours in the spare room/office so it works for that.
