dental plate on medical card ?

    is a dental plate covered on the medical card and if so what are the conditions.do you have a choice whether its acrylic or cobalt

    Acrylic only, must be pre approved by the dentist. Go in to a dentist and get them to send off for approval for you.

    Valid medical card, no denture in the last few years, dentist has to make the case for you. After that its at the whims of whatever paper pusher gets the form in the HSE.
