    Can someone tell me if its possible to transfer saved txt messages from a normal fone to a new iphone4? And if so, how does one go about it? And how do i put pics from a computer onto the iphone?

    Just to clarify, am i correct in saying its not possible to bluetooth pics from my old fone directly to my iphone unless i jailbreak the iphone which i wont be doing.

    :confused::confused:

    with regards to texts, no, i dont think so.

    with pictures, find a way of backing them up to computer then use itunes to sync the pics to your iphone.

    If you're a Mac user, it's a bit more straightforward to set up photo transfers, as iPhoto can be set up to automatically update and transfer photos between devices as soon as they're connected. And photo stream in the new iCloud automatically transfers new photos you take to a server for automatic back up.

    But with old photos from an old phone, if you're on Windows you just transfer them to an album in My Photos folder and then import them as a new album to iTunes. Once they're in iTunes it easy to get them to the iPhone. It's all easier than it sounds, anyway!

    Oh, and you're right about the Bluetooth. There is a way to transfer photos between iPhones, but not across platforms. There's an app called photoshare that does this without jail breaking, but that's no good to you at this stage.
