Where's the best place to buy a hubcap or two?

As above, I'm having difficulty finding individual hubcaps for my car. Most of the scrapyards I ring don't want to sell them to me and they are 20-30 quid each from the main dealer.

I have also tried that place in Loughlinstown and the guy doesn't have them.

Anyone have any recommendations?

I don't know where you are, but are there any dodgy local markets near you? There are often hubcaps for sale by some lovely dodgy people at the market in limerick on the weekend for example. THough they're almost certainly all stolen/ "found"

I'm in South Dublin I'm afraid.

There is a lovely elderly man who runs a small shop that sells used hubcaps in Loughlinstown. I might go back to him again.

Or even better(cheaper) They should fit your wheels if there 14inch steelie.

I bought a set off them over a year ago now, and they're hard wearing and still look great. Bought a cheap set or two before from Aldi and the likes and they shatter with any kind of a knock.

They only seem to do full sets though...

I wouldn't be gone on the idea of spurious hubcaps to be honest.

They're not that much cheaper than the genuine article at the main dealer.

I got a quote from C&K of 20-30 euro each for one, or 50 euro for a new set.

I've tried loads of scrapyards in Dublin and it appears that if it's not something big, they're not arse selling it to you, which is frustrating really.
