    Hi all.

    Was wondering could someone give me advice on buying a small laptop.

    Basically I have a 2 year old laptop but I was thinking about getting a small one for lectures, just to take notes and edit pdf files and PowerPoints. Price is negotiable but I was thinking around the 400 mark since it won't be my primary machine.

    All ideas welcome please!

    I've had a Dell Inspiron Mini 1018 for about a year now. I use it for taking notes, light web browsing, and watching the occasional video.

    It cost me €250 at the time, though I'm sure there is a newer model with better specs by now.
