    Hi All

Just looking for pre marraige courses in Galway. Could anyone recommend a good course in Galway?

Also is there a certain time frame before your wedding that you have to have the course completed eg 6 months before your wedding date or can we do it now 10 months before the wedding?

We are looking at Avalon - has anyone had experience with these?

    Thanks in advance

We did ours today and we're not getting married until June so you should be fine to do it early.

From what I've read, and from what I've been told by a priest, Avalon isn't recognised by a lot of priests. You should check with your priest first before you book it. I don't know of any courses in Galway but you probably wouldn't go wrong with an Accord course. I presume they're in Galway.

Just done mine as well on saturday in dublin though.

Am getting married in galway and our priest said that the Avalon isn't recognised by Galway Diocese.

+1 for Avalon, our priest told us he won't take that one, he only accepts Esker in Athenry, Mount Argus in Dublin or the Accord ones. We did the Mount Argus one, it was the cheapest.

+ 1 Esker..... great especially when they roll out the mini-bar :-)
