    I currently have these two broadbands
    [Embedded Image Removed]which is on O2, and this one
    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSNoCz0a-FahaX75aArSmw11UcSIdiKyKKIVXIj7cyazBVHJOYueHJ8TIXtwhich is on Meteor

    Pic one is the O2 Globesurfer and I have this unlocked and it had a 15g data allowance, I currently have a PAYG O2 sim in it which only has a 5g data allowance, pic two is the Meteor Hotspot which has a 30g data allowance.

    This is where I badly need your help, what do I have to do to get the Meteor sim to work in the Globesurfer. I have put the Meteor sim into the O2 Globesurfer and messed about with the settings but TBH I haven't got a clue what I am doing, can somebody please advise me on what to do.

    You need to change the APN from o2's default to meteors default apn. Its been ages since I did this but thats how i got meteor to work in the globesurfer 3 :)

    Thanks for that Dazza but I had no luck with it, I changed the APN to Broadband.mymeteor.ie and the SSID to Broadband To Go but still no connection, I feel that it is only something small stopping the connection but I am fooked if I know what that is, Thanks again for your time.

    There's no need to change SSID, it's has no bearing on the Internet connection. The only thing that needs to be set is the APN, so it should just work after that. If not, you may need to contact tech support.

    Can I state the obvious.. just in case. Apologies to Dub12Dave in advance.

    It's not enough just to change the setting. You often have to save the changed setting, or save a new profile, after changing the APN.

    Yes.. stating the obvious, but just in case you've overlooked that.

    No apologies needed Amalgam and thanks also for your help, I am giving up on trying to do this as I have tried over and over again to get it to work but I just cant, I have tried your suggestions and now I am out of ideas. Looks like I will be returning the Meteor Hotspot under the works for me guarantee tomorrow, THANKS to all that tried to help me :).
