Afternoon all. Just browsing adverts.ie and came across these alarms. I'm on the phone, so can't provide a link.

They're branded Eaglemaster, and the poster is charging €150 for the alarm, along with remote start and fitting?

Anybody ver hear of them? Too good a deal to be true?

That sounds far too good to be true, when I got my Clifford installed, it was an extra €200 to have the remote start added on! If he's only charging €150, it must be rubbish.

What type of car is it?

Oh I'm not fitting one, was just trying to satisfy some curiosity. And could be handy information for the future.

Eaglemaster is made somewhere in China and is one of the cheapest brands of alarms. They are not too bad in terms of reliability from my experience ( but that was experience about 5 years ago). Nevertheless I had better brands at the same price so I did not fit a lot of those Eaglemasters.
If man who fits them provides warranty, than price is realistic, just don't expect too much.
