    Hi,

Does anyone know of any shops around Dublin that stock Uggs from brands like Bearpaw or Emu? I need a decent pair for my winter uniform as my job involves a lot of outdoor activity, but am not really willing to cough up for the 250 euro ones! Checked the usual suspects like Schu and Office but they only do Ugg Austrailia...

    Thanks!

New look have emu ones online or you could save a bit by going to newry - a shop in the buttercrane sells emu`s.

what your asking for is fake uggs, uggs are a brand. why not just spend a fiver in Dunnes?

Uggs are a style of sheepskin boot & not a brand, UGG Australia is just the most known brand.

If the OP went & spend a fiver in Dunnes they'd get a pair of non waterproof, synthetic fur lined slipper-y boots

They are not asking for ''fake'' boots.
Ugg Australia is a brand, Ugg is a generic term for a sheepskin boot.

Actually, Decker Inc, owner of Ugg Australia, owns the Ugg trademark in 145 countries. Wikipedia says the main places it's considered generic are just New Zealand and Australia. That's why other brands just call them sheepskin boots.

Fair enough but to call other sheepskin boots ( bearpaw, emu etc)fake uggs is incorrect.

If (s)he was looking for fake uggs she would have asked for fake uggs.

The original post was quite clear and named the specific brands (s)he is looking for.

Tk maxx would be your best bet and they often have different brands to choose from. sometimes if your lucky there might even be UGG australia ones there. I got ugg aus ones there last autumn.. :)

Thanks for the replies guys! TK Maxx completely flew out of my head, I'll definitely have a look there.

I am not looking for 'fake uggs'. I apologise, I thought I was clear enough in my original post, but afaik Ugg boots are a style of boot, I was merely looking for a cheaper brand of them than Ugg Australia. Five euro Dunnes boots definitely won't last the winter!

i'm not sure but i think they had sizes 5/6/7 and possibly an 8 ...there was definitely a good few bigger sizes.

i'm a size 3/4 so i searching for the smallest sizes which were slim on the ground.
