Future proof Electics

    Hey all

Am just starting a build in cork and was given a very basic electrical spec by the builder. Want to ensure that I am future proofing my house by running the appropriate wires (CAT 5/6, data and speaker cables etc) so that they will be available as I can afford to upgrade or as new technologoes come on stream.

I may also run wires to windows, doors & an alarm system and none of this was included in the spec provided by the builder. Essentially, I am looking for a good electrician who will do the basics (sockets, wire kitchen etc) but could go a little further with wiring and who could offer advice in this area. I do not want to go overboard but do not want to go adding wires in a few years when I can do it now.

I would appreciate if people could PM ONLY me with names and details of anyone who they would recommend for such a job. Obviously if they were in Cork or Munster area it would help. Thank you in advance for an suggestions.
