buying guns off non-irish retailers

need a aeg

whats the story with getting guns from uk retailers or asian and getting them to send the gun here? if it fires below a joule will it be allowed into the country or destroyed. last but not least whats the customs tax like ?

If it's below 1 joule it will be allowed in. Customs will charge ya 21% of the total price and the courier will probably hit ya for some admin charges.

Rhinocharge

Customs tax:

Cost of gun plus shipping divided by exchange rate.
Mutiply new total by 1.035 for customs charge
Mutiply this new total by 1.21 for VAT @ 21%
Add €6.00 for AnPost charge or €13.50+ for courier charge.

Just to clarify something here - i.e. state the obvious - ordering from retailers within the EU will not incur customs charges.

do you already have the hop up rubber, hop up chamber and gearbox?

Gearbox? Buffer/Stock tube (most G&P stocks come with it, but just in case the one you're looking at did not from any particular site), Hop up unit, hop up rubber, outer barrel (again, I'm pretty sure the URX comes with it, but just worth mentioning none-the-less), flash-hider/silencer, iron sight...nothing else I can think of
