If you dont get sorted give me a shout when November comes and I will take you out for a stalk on a deer. The reason for leaving it till november is that there are only a few stags about and lots of Does, so better chances of bagging one in Nov.

nothing wrong with goat, they are underrated IMO, having said that i would say there is a lot more to deer stalking, they are harder to sneak up on:D

stalking a few goats is an excellent way to get up to speed for deer stalking. as long as you dont mind the smell :D:D:D

for starters they are hard knocked,i know a guy who shot 1 in da head with a 223 and it ran off and it was a clean shot 100yrds aprox.i think the shooter got a bigger fright than the goat:eek:.goats can run at eachother at 20mph and headbut eachother and has no effect:confused:.oh i know another daft egit who shot 1 in the head wit a 22magnum and shouted i got him, they couldnt find him and when they did he was eating leaves from a bush with a red patch on his head..their heads are riot sheilds..behind the ear or behind the bottom end of their shoulder is only spot to shoot them,,goats are lucky to have but unlucky to shoot.theres wild goat in the area but not botherd with them.as long as their wild and not tagged shoot away if their ferrils.what caliber would u use?
