Having my daughter in a playschool, it has changed this year. Parents are not allowed to enter the room, we have to Q in line to collect our children, if you want to find out how your child has got on, you have to proceed to the end of the Q, till the room has cleared and then talk to the montersori teacher. Personally my self i have a newborn with me , and mightnt have the time somedays to RE -Que to ask.

This has only happened this year as a new teacher as started. Anyway.....

Point Being........... I taught Playschools shoud have an open door policy with parents.

I took this matter up with the playschool Manager and i was told that this new teacher is just out of college and its the way she RUN'S the room. It makes me mad that we cant go in to the room to view there art work, and nature tables as we were allowed to do last year. There is no contact with this teacher..... bascally ur child she shoved out the door, and told c u tomorrow.

Maybe from the teachers point of view it's better not to have many parents interfere in the classroom.
Moved to Edu, they should know more about Montesorri style.
