You'll get there in 30 mins or less driving even in bad traffic as you are going against it all the way until the estate itself, but for that commute why not Luas it or cycle? Both pleasant ways to get there and it's a straight cycle or handy luas trip.

Get the luas, seriously half the country would love to have their work commute along the luas line, you're lucky!

Unless of course you have some sort of disability which requires the use of a car.

Why are you even thinking of driving this journey when you have the option of LUAS which will have you there in under 20 minutes.

I've done that commute, I'd definitely Luas given the choice. No question.

This has to be the least complicated commute that one could do in Dublin. Lucky you!

Maybe the OP prefers driving. Not everyone likes public transport.

By the way, Luas is not an acronym, and shouldn't be spelt in all upper-case.

Did this 4 months. Leave the car at home!

Live in Milltown, I got the Luas to Sandyford for 3 years until I lost my job, is around 12 mins journey, dead handy.
