Chip or hole on top of front tooth...

    Hey guys,

I've had a small hole or chip at the top of my front tooth (top jaw). What can be done to fix it? It hasn't really gotten bigger but I'm afraid it will when I get older. I'm 23 now and have had it since around 20 or 21 years of age.

The thing is, I'm terrified of dentists. I've had two bad experiences. One where I had an apsis in my mouth and had to take a molar out. I was about 7 or 8 when I had this done. The dentist put an injection in my mouth to numb it, but as soon as he did, he took out the tooth. I felt the pain and the crunch of my molar coming out. No time was given for the anesthetic to work.

My second experience was when getting fillings in a molar when I was about 12 and I felt all the pain. I'm not too good with needles neither. Maybe they should have put more anesthetic into my gums?

I'm studying in the UK at the moment, where dental treatment can be very cheap. Is there any way I can be sedated so I can get my teeth sorted? I won't go if I have to get a needle or anything because I don't trust them from my bad experiences.

    Cheers :o
