    Hi
Here are the headings I use on mine. You should also be able to find simple templates on Google.

    1. Title - Curriculum Vitae
    2. Name
    3. Address
    4. Telephone
    5. Email

    Education
Most recent first, with dates - work backwards.

    Work Experience
Again, most recent first, with dates, work backwards.
Give the job title, company (or hotel) name, location. Description of duties.

    Other Skills
Any other skills you believe are relevant, eg driving licence, any computer skills, good communication skills, adaptable... etc.

    Referees
Unless specifically asked, I would simply say, Available Upon Request - and leave it at that.

That's about it - it should be short and concise (not more than two pages). And make sure you put a good bit of thought into the cover letter - this will mark you out from 99% of others.

    Good Luck!

Hope it went well for you superstoner, let us know if you get the job!
    I need some help too...
I'm 19, didn't sit my leaving cert (my mam was sick, i left school to look after her), have no work experience and I'm not in college (I started in September but had to leave because I couldn't afford it) I tried getting voluntary work for work experience but even charities around here have no vacancies.
It's coming up to Christmas so I'm hoping to get some seasonal work but I have absolutely nothing to put on a cv/application form!
    Could someone please help me?

first let me say im sorry to hear your mum being sick

i dident get any reply yet on the job...but will keep you posted
.. you done the junior cert so you could stick that down...if you get apsolutly any work at all even if it 2 or 3 days its still something to put down on the c.v. .... even if you dident get much pay like 2 or 3 euro a day..an employer wouldent mind having a young energenic person in their astablishment .. or if you ever helped out on a farm or anything at all , i worked in a hotel cleaning up outside , pulling the weeds (pardon the pun:D), sweeping , crushing card board and jobs like that , all i got was E2.20 an hour so i think its time for a change , thats why im trying to get another job
