    Hi

You are all too helpful from my last inquiry...and Dublin bus route planner is absolutely terrible sometimes, sooooooo, without further ado...I am trying to find out if anyone knows a route on transport form Stocking Lane in Rathfarnham to Citywest Business Campus that won't take 2 hours! Thanks. :)

Not that easy I'm afraid, but it can be done with 2 buses.

74a to first stop on Bushy Park Road, then walk from there to Terenure Library (5-10 minute walk) and 65b from there.

Journey time (depending on connections) about 1 hour 15 mins.

It does actually come up on the Dublin Bus route planner - option 2 when you use Stocking Lane opposite Prospect Estate for the "From" and Citywest Road Opposite Bianconi Avenue.

You do need to plan it well though:

74a timetable is here (allow about 25 minutes to get to Bushy Park Road).

65b timetable is here - allow about 20-25 minutes for the bus to get to Terenure (15 minutes for the early mornings) and 40-45 minutes from there to Citywest.

Oh dear.... and it's looking like I might have to do it too...should have checked first! Thanks for the info you are an invaluable help.

    God no, not at all.

Walk down to Scholarstown Rd, get a 15 to Templeogue Bridge, get a 65B from there. Much quicker.

Depending on where exactly the OP is that could be quite a long walk (particularly if she is at the far end of Prospect estate).

Bear in mind also that when the relevant phase of Network Direct the 15 will not be at Scholarstown Road terminus.

Having checked this out, both are an option (for the time being...asked a driver yesterday and he said the 15 won't be gone for a long while yet). It's possible to walk down to the 15 terminus from where I'll be based....

    Thanks again for your help.
