not really magnus knows about hollow earth, surely they can figure something out, or maybe she can just hang around for 150+ years:D

love this show, weird they wrapped season 4 nearly a month ago, must be some amount of post production,

Most of it is shot against green screen, and backgrounds are added afterwards.

Loved the opener - as I hoped, it is definitely going to shake things up. Druitt was never found out as Jack the Ripper, and he and Kate are missing from the title card. Plus Adam is still alive and will still be a vengeful bastard. And vacation Magnus could come back as a crazy cat lady.

I think Adam had to become the vengeful bastard due to continutity, i.e. if he doesn't become vengeful to save his daughter he never uses the time machine and so him and Magnus never travel back and creates a huge paradox.

I think its a very good plot device to change the show up a bit, but may take a few episodes to do that.

No timeline changes, which was a bit disappointing. Looks like the only potential ramification of last week might be Druitt (when he surfaces again).

Decent episode this week. Looks like the government's plans for abnormals may be a big story this season.

a good episode, setting things up nicely for the season, and with only 13 eps it should be good,

i dont get why magnus was hiding out though

I assumed she had to wait until the other Magnus left (to follow Adam), otherwise there would have been two of them.

That's a shame, but kind of expected too at this point.

Shame, but the Season 4 finale at least worked as a series finale too and closed off a number of plot arcs while leaving room for a fifth season. Other seasons would have left us on a cliff hanger.
