Correct Order For Guitar Pedals

    Ok, got myself a powered pedalboard (Gator MegaBone), and have thrown all my pedals onto it, but i'm getting a bit of a not-so-loud, high-pitched, ringing sound on it.

    I have the pedals ordered as follows:

    Tuner -> Wah -> Distortion -> Big Muff -> Whammy -> Chorus -> Tremelo -> Phaser -> Delay

    Any suggestions/recommendations on what order to put them in for the best sound, and to hopefully get rid of the screeching?!!

    The order i'd suggest (but its ALL down to personal preference) would be

    tuner - whammy - big muff - wah - distortion

    then its whether you want to delay your modulated sound, or delay your modulated sound?

    For me, it'd be delay - chorus - phaser - tremolo, but thats just what i like

    As for the screeching, that could be an earthing problem, or a power supply problem somewhere, try the amp by itself first, then with the power supply just powering the tuner, and if thats ok, then add the other pedals in gradually until you find whichever one is causing the problem.
    Make sure all the pedals are centre negative as well.

    Hope this helps

    Yea, could be the power supplies actually. I've hooked it up with the daisy-chain 9v supply that i got with the pedal-board (Appart from the whammy and wah). I'll try going back to some of the individual power supplies and see if it makes a difference.
