    i.e.

--> I will get them cheaper online
any good in compared to what? insulating your home? reducing your electrical consumption? changing from fossil fuel heating to biomass? solar thermal for part of your hot water?

Used that insulates foil myself, pasted to the wall. Made a noticeable difference to the heat in the rooms.

Hi iMax how are you finding it now?

Which walls in your house did you fit it to? An external or internal wall?

Just curious to know as in theory they sound great and the sales blurb sounds amazing but whether any of it is true is another story. I'm thinking of getting them myself even to trial as they don't seem that expensive.

Did both internal & external (but all brick), added Radiator cabinets also to deflect the heat out. It's good, made a difference to the heat in the room.

    Cool thanks.

I've read some fairly detailed and technical posts on another website that cast a lot of doubt on the effectiveness of them, I don't think any of the posters had installed them though.

all the foil does is reflect heat, if your read the cert, you will see that it is meant to be used with other regular insulation. otherwise you'll have spent a lot of money on a type of placebo:)

I put it in three years ago BryanF, as well as insulating the attic, was able to lower the boiler from running at four to running at two.
