    Hey,

I uses the latest firefox edition. Everytime I shut down or log off and then log on again, websites such as boards.ie, facebook etc have me logged out. I checked out the whole cookies situation and it's set up right ie. they are not being deleted, what else can I do? I have gone through many suggestions just from googling the problem but nothing works.

    Thanks

Right click a firefox shortcut and you'll see something like this in the Target field:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe

Add -profilemanager to the very end of the string so it reads
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe -profilemanager

Then click OK/Apply and restart firefox using that new shortcut. A profile manager will appear. Create a new profile, call it test and select it. This new profile will not have your Bookmarks/Settings/History or anything, so test boards.ie and see if it works. If it does you can use MozBackup to backup your Bookmarks/History from the old profile and restore it to the new one. Then you can delete your busted profile :)

Thanks but didn't work I'm afraid, shut down and started up again, started 'test' firefox, didn't remember me though, when I opened it it remembered my usernames but I wasn't logged in

Back up profile. Remove Firefox, reinstall. Test. Restore bookmarks/history if required.
