    I am considering getting a Mac Mini.

    I have a nice 23 inch screen so don't think and iMac would be suitable (or could I afford it)

    Just wondering wondering are the would be worthwhile getting?

    I use my pc for Internet, torrents, video encoding, office stuff. I have recently got a dlsr camera so would also be interested in photo editing.

    I do have an iPad and iPhone and love the ease of use. I am also thinking of getting a apple tv. It would complete the package!

    Mac minis have dual-core i5 processors now, so they should be fine for video encoding.

    Just make sure you buy your own RAM; the 8Gb kit €46 from Crucial while it's a disgusting €300 from Apple themselves.

    That extra €250 can then be spent on Thunderbolt or Firewire 800 drives to store all your encoded videos & photos.
