Advice on returning an item?

I bought another mobile phone on eBay. I think the battery is faulty and I'd like to return it. I got it Monday October 3rd. I opened a case on eBay this morning looking to return it. I haven't gone near PayPal yet but I'd like some advice on what to do if the seller ignores me and never gives me a return address?

I'll have to stop buying phones over eBay as I had a similar problem with a LG Optimus 7 last month! :D Any advice appreciated.

If he doesn't reply, start a claim. Give it 3 or 4 days.

  • I gave it until tonight and went into PayPal to start a dispute. Strangely there was no messing and the system instantly escalated the dispute to a claim. It said the seller was unable to respond to the dispute. Hope it's not a bad sign. I still have no return address to send the phone back to.

He may already be suspended by Paypal. You should still get your money back.
