Sun resorts in November or alternative ideas

    Hi all

I fancy a late trip to some place sunny at the end of this month with 2 mates, we're lads in our late 20s.

It looks like it would be a resort that we would be heading to so the Canaries, tenerife, maybe Crete or Ibiza.

If anyone has been in any of these places so late in the season is it still possible to have a good time there.

Would people have any other suggestions of where to head to at this time of year where would be a good place to chill out in nice weather and be able to have a few activities?

    thanks in advance

Agadir (Morocco) has warmer weather than most places. Also has a great beach

There is not a whole lot to do in the city but there are several organised trips to interesting places such as the Sahara/Taroudant/Marakesh/Esouira

Be warned though its a Muslim country so its not Ibiza. Its quite different culturally. If your looking for a quiet holiday with nice weather and some interesting stuff its not a bad spot.

If your planing a 7 day party its a waste of time.

Thanks for the advice guys, I think party season is over in the resorts, would have to hit las vegas for hedonism which is out of the price range of some of us.

I hadn't thought of Agadir but I'm not sure a place where alcohol is not freely available and pubs aren't allowed would really fit the bill. Its kind of a requirement but I'll keep it in mind.

Thinking of going to Gran Canaria myself it will be quiet but there will still be a few decent bars

Just pricing all these places on ebookers, surprised how cheap marbella is, thought it was an upmarket destination but the hotel are nice and can stay 8 nights for 500 odd.

Might do a search of Marbella on boards to see what people think as I know little about it myself.

All these places are gonna be quiet, i would look to include a bigger city for a few days then maybe a few days on the beach. Lisbon and then on down to estoril / cascais might fit the bill. In Nov it might be a bit chilly for the beach.

What's the most impirtant thing, sun or nightlife ?

Lisbon for the nightlife, for sure.

There is no issue getting beer anywhere in Morocco. There are pubs and clubs in Agadir, its just not as mad as Ibiza
