Have a triton t90xr shower and the water is extremely hot coming from it, doesn't matter if you select low heat or high heat.

Any ideas, assuming it is an issue of some sort with the thermostat.

Make sure the shower head is not blocked with scale build up. May be use a different head or see what is the water temperature when the shower head is out? If still hot you may need new thermostat?.

Take the shower head off the see what temperature the water is coming directly out of the hose, if the water coming out of the hose is fine the cause is a blockage in the shower head blocked up with limescale.

    Hi

I only bought new shower head two weeks ago , so I didn't think it was shower head.

just took it off there now and a load of lime scale fell into bath from the new head.

water is fine when the head is off. thanks

It's time to replace the element. With a new element you won't have limescale buildup for another few years. Without the new element you'll find that you have to clean head more often
