When the engine is idling there is a rattle from the engine, I've changed the oil recently so dont think its tabets, kinda sounds like a bearing? Would it be water pump?? Timing belt was changed 10000 miles ago but was done before I got the car so not sure if the pump was changed as well.. any suggestions??

Sounds to me like it could be crankshaft bearings, after you changed the oil did the oil light go out straight away ?. if the noise gets worse as the engine warms up it is most likely bearings. Big job.

no when i rev the car it will go away, just when i start it and leave it idle away it rattles

Crankshaft bearings would be extremely unlikely unless you had driven without any oil or had an oil pump failure, in either case the oil light would be on constantly.

A pulley bearing would be more likely, try to get it checked quickly though as if it was a timing belt idler bearing or the water pump bearing then you could end up with other issues very quickly.

Might be just something loose - maybe even a heatshield on exhaust.
Post a video on youtube, even cameraphone vid is better than nothing.

why do that, if your unsure with somthing like an engine which could be expensive to fix,why take that risk, get a profesional to look at it,youtube or google isnt the solution to fix everything.
