    Hey, I'm a 23 year old lad from Galway City. I moved up to Carrick on Shannon during the summer with my girlfriend who's from here. Unfortunately we broke up recently, but I'm kinda stranded in Carrick at the moment because the high rent in Galway pretty much makes it impossible to move home for now. I don't know many people here at all, what do you think would be a good way to get to know some people?? Any help appreciated. Cheers.

    or keep an eye on the dock website...http://www.thedock.ie/workshops-classes.

    You might be interested in getting involved in theatre, if not acting then help with stage design, lighting, IT, camera...etc. Breiffne players are an amateur outfit based in the dock. ask at the dock. Someone there will help.
